A typical class focuses on breath, movement, and the transition between postures. My goal for each class is to offer a space for people to have an experience in their body and breath, to get full immersed in the present moment, to quiet the running commentary of the mind so that they can relish is the gifts of the present moment. I encourage each student to honor what they are needing from the class by modifying their practice as needed and welcome requests for modifications to the class. With the focus on the breath and movement of the body, we move away from the chatty mind so students leave feeling like they got a break from busy thinking and immersing in their breath and body.
